¡Hola!
My name is Megan Seasely Bender. I started working at Rocky Heights Middle School as a Spanish teacher in the fall of 2015. I am originally from Charlotte, NC and attended Furman University in Greenville, SC where I received my Bachelor's in Spanish in 2009. In college, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Chile and work with Latino non-profits. I have worked in many fields including social work, worker's compensation and HeadStart, but teaching is by far my passion. Prior to moving to Colorado, I taught for two years at a magnet high school in Charlotte, NC. I completed my Master of Arts in Teaching K-12 Spanish at UNCC in the spring of 2016 and plan to continue my learning of Spanish during numerous travel abroad trips. With my wonderful husband I have twin girls and a dog named Bindi. I look forward to working with you at Rocky Heights!
